whisper in the head
over and over
debating, complaining
over and over
degrading, deprecating
over and over
round and round
the merry-go-round
goes round and round
the insults and jabs
come again
over and over
‘loser’
‘pathetic’
‘fat cow’
over and over
it’s time it stops
now
no more
whispering
over and over
